She accessorized her attire with Kundan necklace set made with kundan, emeralds and uncut diamonds. The Nath, maang teeka, and waistband matched the looks of Haar. The entire ensemble was making our Priyanka look like the finest works of God’s creation.
3. Deepika Padukone – 14 November 2018
Far away from the limelight and paparazzi, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married at Lake Como in Italy. However, the wedding was in a foreign land but the wedding was 100% desi Konkani wedding.
Deepika is the queen of hearts and but with her traditional South Indian Bridal look, she became a goddess. She wore a red and gold Kanjeevaram Saree from the House of Angadi, Bangalore. The saree was a gift from her dear mother. She also wore a silk dupatta from Sabyasachi.
To take the bridal look to the next level, Deepika wore traditional temple jewellery, a tiny red bindi, a mathapatti, gorgeous earrings, and bangles. 4. Katrina Kaif – 9 December 2021
When we heard that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are getting married, they instantly became a favorite couple of the entire nation. The couple tied the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara in the Sawai Madhopur district. When we looked at the picture of their wedding, we could see how this heavenly couple was looking at each other like they have found their home in each other.
The national crush Katrina wore a classic red bridal lehenga by Sabyasachi. This custom-made lehenga was handcrafted for the bride in handwoven matka silk with meticulous tilla works. The lehenga had embroidered velvet zardozi borders. The veil of the bride was inspired by the Punjabi Roots of the groom, it was custom-made with handmade kiran.
The wedding jewellery that Katrina wore was handcrafted with 22K gold and uncut diamonds with pearls. The entire jewellery collection was from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery. The gorgeous mathapatti, nath, and jhumki earrings were feeling lucky to be a part of Katrina’s jaw-dropping looks. The kaleere that she wore had dangling coins like charms. These customized Kaleere were from Mrunalini Chandra. Katrina had personalized messages in these Kaleere which were styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania. The chuda was from Raabta by Rahul.
For makeup, Katrina also sported minimal makeup with clean and matte skin and slight eyeshadow, and nude lips. She put the cherry on the top with a small red bindi.
5. Alia Bhatt – 14 April 2022
In one of the most awaited weddings in India in 2022, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became one at their residence in Mumbai. They too followed the trend and married each other far away from the limelight. Only close family members and friends were invited to the wedding. Although, the wedding might be small in size couple’s looks were larger than life.
For her wedding, instead of going with a traditional lehenga, Alia wore a gorgeous ivory organza saree.
